Description

Boost horsepower, sharpen throttle response, and deliver an aggressive intake growl to your small-displacement powerplant with the RDLN 38mm 45-Degree Racing Air Filter Assembly. Engineered as a high-flow performance upgrade for carbureted 50cc 2-stroke and 4-stroke scooters, this open-element intake replaces your restrictive factory plastic air box with a high-CFM pleated filtration element. Includes a removable smoke-tinted rain cover cap with mounting screw.

Note for GY6 125cc / 150cc owners: This 38mm intake generally will NOT fit stock 125cc or 150cc carburetors, which require a larger 42mm–43mm intake boot. Measure your carburetor throat outer diameter before ordering.

Important — Re-Jetting Required: Switching from a stock airbox to an open high-flow filter significantly increases airflow. This will cause your engine to run lean. You must up-jet your carburetor’s main jet — typically 5–10 sizes depending on elevation — to properly balance the fuel mixture after installation.
