Manufactured from the highest quality aluminum alloys and tempered to a T-5 or T-6 hardening and tempering cycles. Vertex produces unique piston profiles and compression ratios to maximize power and performance while reducing blow-by and oil consumption. Every Vertex piston has a molybdenum disulphide (MOS2) coating on the piston skirt, which aids in the break-in process and reduces wear on your new piston.
