The weight of your rollers determines when your variator “shifts” — swapping them lets you prioritize off-the-line snap or highway cruising efficiency. Weight Selection Guide

• Light weights (9g–10g): Best for quick acceleration, stop-and-go city riding, and improved hill climbing. May reduce top-end speed slightly.
• Heavy weights (12g–15g): Ideal for long-distance commuting and maximizing top-end speed by keeping engine RPMs lower at high velocity.
• Durable composite shell: High-heat resistant outer shell reduces flat-spotting and extends variator service intervals.

Tuning tip: Riders over 200 lbs or with a stock motor generally see the best results with lighter weights. If you have installed a big bore kit (BBK), heavier weights are often required to keep the engine from over-revving past its new power band.

Compatibility

Direct fit for 125cc+ Yamaha and European scooter platforms. Most 125cc models use 6 rollers per set.
